G3 in the thrift store

I know its been talked about before,but today I went in and I see more G3 than ever AND playsets. I found another star catcher for 99 cents with a rainbow dash tho i passed it up,just more junk I dont need. But the amount of playsets I see is insane! cotton candy cafe, and another small playset cant think of its name. You think G3 ponies will ever amount to anything 20 yrs from now? lol I'm starting to think no.

I dont think so. No one gets rid of anything anymore. Not with thrift stores and ebay. Everyone wants something for everything. At least they'll be easy to get a hold of. I know my Goodwills and thrifts NEVER have any ponies. Always a few playsets, but never ponies.

thats true these days people don't dump things out left and right. But I have seen a lot of G3 ponies at the thirft stores. If I was into custom ponies they'd be good cheap investments thats for sure. :wickedwitch:

I kinda think G3s will be worthless years from now, but some people say that as soon as the kids who adore them now grow up and have money, they may be worth just as much as the G1s are to us. Who knows? Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting money on them, and want to focus more on the G1s, but I can't help it. It's just too fun getting caught up in it all- new ponies coming out, holiday ponies, movies, etc.
