G3 Baby Joyful Jade pegasus

yeah, if i was gonna complain about woosie's customs it would be that they're TOO popular! i can't afford to compete with everyone else trying to buy one, but i want one soooooo bad! D:

Since when does expressing a negative opinion of something popular equate jealousy and bitterness? That is absurd. I've seen many people on these forums expressing a very similar dissappointment in Hasbro designs which share some of the common trends that I mentioned finding distasteful. Does that make them jealous of Hasbro's pony-making ability? Hasbro makes millions selling their ponies, so surely they must be complaining out of spite. Furthermore, I never said that they were not otherwise beautiful and well made.

However, I stand by my statements because when I looked back on the four most recent pages in this forum I saw four Woosie originals with their body color in their name. :?

My mistake was in assuming that Woosie was making them primarially for herself. That has been clarified (thanks Diet, for doing it sucinctly!)... they are being made in this way because it is her "niche" and it is what sells best. That's fine. And that doesn't mean that I think that she's "churning them out" or making them without any thought as someone in this thread so eloquently put it; it takes time and effort to do anything like this and a person would have to be stupid not to know that.

Wow she's so awesome!! I love green ponies

Hey Woosie, do you have a deviantart accout?
If not maybe you can join? (they are free accounts)
So more people can see your beatiful customs

Woosie, listen. Your customs are beautiful. As said by others, you should not take comments like this to heart, as we all know they aren't true. Your customs are like nothing I've ever seen in my life, you are probably one of the best customizers known to human-kind. Personally, and I'm quite sure others feel the same, I think every custom you make is entirely unique, and incredibly well-done. Much more than most of us could ever dream of doing!

So please, don't let this incident turn you away from making these beautiful, stunning works of art. We all know that the MLPTP would never be the same without you around.

:)

Ok, I dont know Woosie at all, nor her me but I just wanted to say something. Any artist, ANY AT ALL has a trademark, for example I cannot draw or paint but I write, both stories and poetry. Amongst my circle of writer friends I am known for exceptionally long poems with a vast amount of detail. "Epics" as my friends call them. Sure I can do short pieces and I do but it's not what I'm known for but no one accuses me of being stuck in a rut. Sure I venture out of my trademarks as does Woosie but I personally see very little wrong in doing what you are best at, especially if you enjoy it as much as Woosie does. I dont think having a niche is the same as a rut, to me a rut is not only doing nothing BUT the same thing repeatedly but not feeling good about it, or feeling as if you aren't putting out your best work, and Woosie obviously doesn't have that problem. Just my opinon though. :D

Didn't you see the custom she made for me? That is the most original custom i have ever seen! Maybe you're just bitter becuause you don't have her talent.

LOL. Give me a break! I can tell someone I don't like something without being jealous. Come on, now.

Put up the pics of the Wednesday Adams pony again!! That one was my FAVOURITE!!

I love the pegasii, they are beautiful. BUT I do love it when you throw something a bit different into the mix.. Like Wednesday..

And without wanting to sound like I am in agreement, I think making a specific posting about your work IS an invitation to comment, critically or otherwise. You know that your pegasii are still selling, so don't take it to heart.

One other little thing Woosie, and this may be that I havent noticed, but I don't often see you comment on other people's work? Advice or encouragment coming from your considerable experience could be a big help to some of the others here..(pretty please? :D )

Well, I can understand how you would be upset Woosie, but I don't see why people have to jump on this girl. She didn't put anything rude.

Woosie, your customs are BEAUTIFUL!!! Don't let one comment get you down. Look at all the awesome comments you've gotten. I know we've really never talked but I do keep my eye out for your customs. Your page is marked under my favorites! I must have been away when you posted Wistful Winter because today is the first day I saw her....I must say that is THE best custom I've ever seen!!!! LOVE her. The winner of that is very lucky! I'd love to have her. :) Don't stop what your doing. Keep doing whatever you want. You know what you like and what others like. What matters most is that YOU like what you've done. :)

Hey Woosie!!
I just wanted you to know that I think that you are one of the best pony customizers!!! I love your work! The first time i saw your ponies was on ebay, so keep doing what people want to buy, because I love to see beautiful ponies there!
My favorites are the corsetted ponies, but I love your delicated wings too.
And last but not least, as the oter guys told you don´t let stupid comments hurt you, because you have lots of fans here!

*resists the urge to bid her whole months pony-allowance*
I'm completely in LOVE with the wings you are doing Woosie! I simply don't know how you have the patience to put sooooooooo much detail into them! It would make me totally crosseyed
these lil beauties would make a FABULOUS Rainbow!! ^_^ *massive hugs to Woosie* If you ever need another commission, let me know, I don't have enough of your work in my collection

GREEEEEEEEEEN!!!! is my favorite color, she is mindblowingly beautiful. I love how you did the wing tips

Ok, wow.....

omgmypony.... "constructive criticism" is used to criticize the quality of a work, not the style.. trying to tell some one that your giving them constructive criticism about their style, is like telling them that your opinion in art is more valid than theirs.

Secondly, woosie isn't making these for your entertainment. You think she's making too many of the "same" customs? Then get off your rear and go make a "creative" one to entertain yourself

Just wanted to congratulate you on what this lovely pony went for ;)

I showed my mother your customs last night, and she was left breathless xD Your pegasus ponies are her favorites, especially Wistful Winter and Baby Joyful Jade :)

Your customs are a work of art...each and every one of them. I am amazed on the detail and simplicity of your work, not overdone or made for ebay. You make them for the pony community. You are a true pony artist!!!! (I went to art school and you outshine many of the people I went to school with)

I don't see anything wrong for a starving "artist" to make money off their creations on ebay, ignore all those people and create! If you make money GOOD FOR YOU!
