So I found a lady who said she had some my little ponies that she was looking to send to a good home. I got excited when she told me they were the "old ones" and so after paying shipping this is what I received!

Tickler, Blossom, Seashell, AppleJack, Bubbles, Bow Tie, Ember, Baby Glory, and Baby Cuddles!! XD I'm so excited!

I do have a few of these already but mine are really baity where as these are in good shape!!

I did notice one thing.... Why is this SeaShell so much lighter than my baity one? Is she sun faded?

Cuuuuuuuuute! My boyfriend is slowly pushing me more into the G1s, as he says I cannot sell my Bubbles nor Glory... and I love Sundance so I'm not selling her. It is difficult because I'm torn between keeping them or sending them to friends who REALLY want them. I have told the BF he needs to be careful though because G1s are more expensive and HE pays for the ponies, lol.

Congratulations! What a great lot of ponies. Don't you just love Bubbles & Seashell? They are 2 of my favorite G1s. I don't know why your recent Seashell is lighter than your baity one. (Maybe they were made at different factories.)

Oh my god! So jealous! I rarely score G1s like that anymore!

I used to all the time is Hawaii at the swap meet. Everyone on the island was there selling their stuff, and in Hawaii, since it's so isolated and shipping is so pricey, everything there stays there, so people have so much vintage stuff. It just ends up at the swap meet every weekend in front of the Rainbow Warrior's football stadium! It's endless, and some people have a business selling things like T-shirts and tacky tourist things (which is funny because tourists don't go to that side of the island, but we'd bring our guests and they'd love it!) But I would find vintage ponies, and I could spot them in a pile of toys. I scored a plush Blossom there, and a So Soft Sleepy Newborn Hushabye for 25 cents! I was about 8-11 at the time, considering it was almost 5 years ago. I loved it because I had to save up forever to buy G1s on eBay because of the shipping to Hawaii, but I could just get them at swap meets for a few cents!

I really want a lot of those you scored. Especially Seashell and Ember. What are you going to do with the old Seashell? If you don't want her, I'd love to trade! If not, I can help you match the color to reroot her hair. I'm not going to collect Sweetheart Sisters anymore. They just aren't my style I guess. I only have two and I'd trade one for her if you are interested. ;)

I'm planning on getting all the baby embers because I can't decide which one is cutest and the colors look so pretty together! This reminded me to put it on my Xmas list :)

They're lovely. It's been ages since I had a good G1 score. I imagine the colour difference is just to do with fading from the sun or slight variations in the plastics (afterall they were made en mass!).

THEY ARE!!! >:O makes me angry!! Ha ha It's just hard not to love g1s

I was kinda figuring that as well. I've heard the sun will bleach your ponies, so I guess her and bowtie (this bowtie compared to my other is very light) were in a window maybe?
