I have a Peruvian Baby Bow Tie. She has no tail and I do not think she was rehaired (I really couldn't tell) since she is all rusty inside and she is missing one plug of hair too. If you rerooted one, you would rather clean it out, right?
Now, she does have light pink hair, not white! Everything I can find online says she is supposed to have white hair, but mine is more of a fading pink, definitely pink.
My first question: Does anyone own this pony and can tell me, if the hair is white or pink. Maybe they all have faded to white?
Second: I want to give her a tail. I have enough scrap hair. Does anyone know if she is supposed to have a washer? Or is her tail fastened more like the Italian ones. What is it supposed to look like inside? I want to replace it the right way, not just with a cable tie and a new washer.
I really would like to upload a pic, but it asked me for an Url whatever. My iPad doesn't do that, sorry.

I figured it out, yay!

Hi there!

Cool pony!

She is supposed to have pink hair, but it is very prone to fading. As for the tail, I've never opened any of my Peruvians, so I don't know if there's a washer or not, but I know in a lot of countries there were no washers in there, and they were just tied with something. Mexis, for example, would sometimes just be tied with a string.

Oh thanks, that helps.
I found a perfect matching baby tail. I have a whole bag of old tails, it might be a cut tail from a flutter pony, but it's a original tail and the color is perfect. So I guess I just put a original washer in too.
Can't have her on my shelf without tail. She cleaned up well. She is just a little dingy but cute.

I would think because it is rusty inside that a washer was used. so when you replace her tail use something plastic instead. she is adorably cute. I would love to have a Peru Bow Tie.
