Well, it's been a while since I did art for myself really, so I took a break from commissions/prizes/etc while I'm waiting for some information and did something for me xD I used a lineart I had already drawn, and decided to color it as Hula Hula. She's my favorite Tropical Pony -will be adding her to my wishlist after this xD- I had to make her my sig after I colored her; I'm a little fond of her ;) I tried some new shading techniques with this girl, let me know what y'all think! Bigger, better version at my dA here.

The shading itself looks awesome though. I have to say.

It looks very much inspired from some of Annie Mssions work that I've seen. You have a great style.
 
OMG! This is one of your prettiest pieces yet! No joke. I am absolutely madly in love with the style. It is soooooooooooooooo frigging gorgeous! I think it's my favorite of yours so far, like I said there's just something about that style that makes my jaw totally drop and hit the floor, which it literally did when I opened this thread.


It's stunning. I love the shading, the pose but most of all the style. I absolutly 100% adore it. DARN GIRL you are one of the most talented artists I have seen. :artist::clap:

That would definitely make sense then <3 I see so many people inspired by Luna Cat so it's just nice to mention when I see other styles too. Especially since Annie's got such lovely works. Her cel shading is awesome.
