Yes, eBay has made some changes to their policies where we sellers have to calculate in VAT tax to the EU thanks to a new agreement between the EU and our "officials." Since I would have to consult a tax official for my auctions to do so and I don't sell many ponies to EU countries, I'm just not going to bother. You can always go through a second party to buy U.S. ponies and have them sit in a lock box until they are all shipped together. And they can figure out the VAT for you.

Unfortunately EBay doesn't let me choose non-EU countries as a shipping option. They clump you all together as Europe and UK with only France and Germany as separate entities. I'd have to change my WHOLE shipping options, and (maybe eventually I'll do so) and change it to I WILL ship to ALL countries EXCEPT and then look up what countries are in the EU. Then eBay will allow me to check off certain countries. But that will be a timely project because I will have to do so for each separate auction.
