Anyone seen the sketches by Sibsy, one of the storyboard artists for MLP Friendship is Magic? I just did a post about it on MLP News.

I particularly love this one of Rainbow Dash & Spike

oh wow - didn't know much about the new series other than it's up and coming = hopefully it'll capture what those sketches do

Those were posted about a while back - apparently Lauren Faust had those posted on her DA page prior to getting hired for the TV series. Once she was hired, she took them down. Most of those characters aren't gonna end up in the series, but a couple of the new ponies have similar looks. Like, there's a yellow peg with a purple butterfly cutie mark that looks a lot like Posey. And there's another new character that is like a cross between Sparkler and Glory.

Ah, I see... how sad :( I'm not actually sure how I feel about that pegasus, I was excited for earth Posey!
It also seems like the person running the fb page does not know what's going on.

I wonder how they found those old pics, if they were taken down... Although nothing is ever deleted forever on the internet.

Wow hadnt seen these before~Spike looks really cute. Cant wait for the show to start this fall.
 
I love seeing the G1s out again!!! So awesome! I just wish the artwork wasn't so punky and funny looking. It's kinda cute,but it's also kinda cheap and ....well it's not really the cute,nice MLPs we're used to is it? Meh.. Love Posey tho!
 
I like it!! :] So cute! Although I'm a little afraid of those sibsy ponies, ha ha ha!
