Yes, I love the bees. --especially the little tipsy one. ^_^ And I think you did a great job on the eyes.

Really? I didn't think I got the eyes very well... I couldn't get them exactly symmetrical, and eventually I just said close will have to do.

The bees were fun to paint. Maybe the tipsy one's had a bit too much honey? :)

No, nothing melted... just didn't do what I wanted; I was trying to dye her green, and part took and part didn't, so she was sort of green and pink mottled, so I dyed her again, and now she's black...so I think that one's going to go for a different project, maybe a first try at the rock band ponies? and I've taken a different route with a different base for you. Which is also having mixed results... I think i thinned my mod podge too much, and will need to re-coat her, but not calling quits on her yet :)

Roulette

Kat's asked me to post pictures of her new pony, as she can't wait to see her :)

So here's Miss Roulette:

Betting board on one side, wheel on the other, and a spade on her forehead. She's 'felted' with model landscaping material, as I failed abysmally at dying a pre-flocked fakie in the color I wanted. Painted with acrylics, and re-haired with embroidery floss.

Hope you like her, Kat!
