Found Valentine's Day Pony AFTER Valentine's Day

The strangest thing happened yesterday. I have never once found a V-Day exclusive, and thought I tried this year my Target emplyees were rude and refused to type in the DCPI.


I wandered in yesterday to get a few things and decided to look at the ponies anyway and oddly enough there, along with all the other regular ponies on the shelf were two All my Heart's. I grabbed one, no Candy Hearts sadly because I really wanted her, but anyone who missed out may want to look. Seems they moved the un-sold V-Day's to the regular pony shelf!
 
Same thing happened to me yesterday. The pony section had been cleared out almost literally since Christmas, they haven't really restocked it. Plus, it seemed every time I needed anything at Target (even if it wasn't pony related) I ended up dealing with the same 3 people who were just horrible with customer service.

I thought to check the Valentine's section yesterday to get some discounted chocolate, looked and found no ponies. Decided to try the normal area and sure enough they were there. I convinced my cashier to give them to me for 50% off though :) So the wait was worth it.
 
Yeah, I got my Valentine's ponies (the regular size ones) at Target yesterday too. I mean, all along, up until Valentine's Day, they didn't have these ponies. I had pretty much given up on getting these ponies this year. I figured I wasn't going to be able to get them. And then yesterday, the day AFTER Valentine's Day, I find them at Target, in the pony section. I wonder why they put them out AFTER Valentine's Day, and not before??
 
yeah a friend of mine is secondin charge at target and come to find out, target stores are reading the valentine's mlp's as regular mlp's. a few people including another friend of mine are not even getting the val mlp's at valentine's discounted prices cause supposedly target stores are considering the val mlp's as regular mlp's not seasonal, holiday stock. stupid i think...but some people have even confronted target store managers about it and their computers are only readin the mlp's as regular mlp's...period! *rolls eyes* :roll:
 
Oooh! Maybe there's still a glimmer hope for me to get the V-day ponies!
 
That's SO odd. I decided last night ot try the other Target instead of Super Target and sure enough I got Candy Heart, there were 4 or 5! Guess we are getting kind of lucky here! :D

There's a ton, at both the Targets by my house, and I still have 2 sets to get rid of, but I did find the Easters already, bad marketing of Target on those V ponies, they came out way too late.

my target JUST put up the pegs specifically for the valentine's ponies in the pony aisle, so now there's a bunch. what were they thinking? XD
 
I know this is an old topic, but I found the V-day ponies at Target marked down 50% to $2.50 today. They were with the regular ponies in the toy section. :D
 
Hmph, I wish TRU up here would follow suit..... I was in there the other day and they had like 20 Valentines - all $7.99 each. Ouch! :?

They're still on the shelves at my Target. Two sets. But regular price. They've been restocking them since V-day.
 
Weren't they also at Toys R' Us? That is where I found them in Canada. They had them mixed in with the regular ponies there too and they were not discounted.
 
My Target put them out the same time as the Easters. :evil:
 
Mine has I think 2 sets left at 3 something each. I got a set for 5 because they were in the Valentine merch but weren't marked down. Weird how they put them out later then what they were suppose to be.

I went to Target today and mine had ROWS AND ROWS of Valentines in the clearance section and they were $3.48 each. I think Target did it quite WRONG this year!
 
Around here, the Valentine's Day ponies have been everywhere in Target. Prior to these, I'd always had to hunt to find any of the holiday exclusives, but the pony section was literally clogged with Valentine's ponies even weeks after the holiday passed. I went there last week and there were still about 6 on the pegs.
