Ahem. Anyway, I was all excited after seeing this post and went straight off to WalMart. May I just say that my WalMart SUCKS?!? They've got the darned scooter ponies stacked ten deep on every shelf, and only TWO single ponies. TWO. On the whole display. And it's been that way for WEEKS. I was so hoping they'd restock for Black Friday, but no such luck. Ahhh, well. *Waits*

Could be worse. I could be in Canada. *L* Sorry, Yuixe. Couldn't belp it. I'm still giggling about your post. Hope they come up that way soon!

i decided to brave the crowds and went out with a friend to TONS of stores... we found one or 2 at a couple stores in the early afternoon, but after that it was bone dry, so i figure most stores only put out one or 2 sets, and other parents got to the new ones before we did. i'm going to check my nearest walmart again tomorrow, because they usually restock on saturdays. i did get silver glow and summer bloom though. *worships silver glow*

re: the packaging, i'm a little miffed that the ninja method won't work anymore (you HAVE to be able to cut the tape, but after that it's pretty easy). i was also disappointed to learn that if you turn the pony's head, the neck seam doesn't line up right. it quite honestly resembles many customs where the neck seam has been cut, but the line isn't perfectly even so there are bumps and grooves that fit together in the right position, but are obvious in the wrong position. so even though you CAN turn the pony's head, if you DO she has gaps in her neck.

BUT the hair comes out of the package MUCH nicer. both ponies i got had the most gorgeous factory curls in their manes, that all i did was style their tails (which was hard to do without getting their manes wet!). and the hair is VERY soft and brushable. i think they may have used a different kind of hair on summer bloom... it just looks different somehow.

I want pegasus ponies! lol. I went to one other walmart today and they had the same set (so anyone near st. charles IL, that store has all 4 that I left for people:) It looks like they're packed 5 to a box with all 4 and an extra wind drifter since 2 stores i've found all 4 and 1 extra.

Since people found them in targets, I may just send the fiance on a little pony hunt while i'm at work tomorrow since his family needs some more gift ideas for me;)

You might want to start checking TRU too. That's where I found Wind Drifter, Tulip Twinkle, Royal Bouquet, and Fairy Dust.
 
I found all eight of them at a local walmart :D They are so pretty in person and I couldn't believe I managed to find all of them in one store!

Something tells me, I may have to run to a TRU today. I only found 4 of the 8 at WM.

I got four of the eight as well. Same as you Midnight. :) I just got back from checking the TRU in Olathe and they didn't have any of them. I also checked back at WM but they didn't have the other four out yet. I might check the OP TRU and WM later today.
 
Checked the OP TRU today, and my mom checked the WM yesterday, and nothing. They guy told her, whats out is out till who knows when.
 
I want some...but at the same time, I have no money. Since these are for 2006, they should be around for a while...right?
 
I just noticed as a I was getting the UPC codes for everyone at the arena that some of my packages DO have pony points on the bottoms.

There are 2 points on the bottoms of my Summer Bloom, Royal Rose and Fancy Free. The others that I bought don't have any points. Has anyone else found packages with points on them?

whoa dude! i found 2 summer blooms and silver glow yesterday. 1 summer bloom doesn't have points, the other one and silver glow have points! how weird. @__@
 
since i noticed one or two other kansas people.. PM me if you guys are interested in meeting up and hanging out this summer. I'm thinking of figuring out how to make a meet or something and Ive been seriously wanting to do something the past 3 years.

We can trade around ponies and do random crap. So yeah, pm me..

I went to Walmart before to look for them, but I didn't see any. :( They don't have too much for mlp at all now, though I did get Thistle Whistle, who I've been looking for a while. They have tooooons of lps though, but no new ones of those either. :\ It always seems like New Mexico is the last to get them. *squeaks*
