weather channel says it's suposed to rain tonight so i took my sister to our laundry room and asked her to hold tracks and a flashlight up for me ^^; beter than nothing right. and i think it turned out neat

Waiting for it to get dark here....hoping the moon is visible....it was storming last night, but. seems pretty clear today. *fingers crossed*
 
I just happened to get mine last night, well early this morning at like almost 2. the moon was high and tiny lol.
 
I had to drive to a church to get a good look at the moon! :lol:
The trees around my house were in the way!

I just couldn't get a good silhouette :( I had to use my flash to get the pony to show up. The moon was way too small up here!
 
It was a bit difficult to get pony and moon visible in equal parts. I was freezing out there messing with my camera settings!
 
I got about 20 pictures before the clouds rolled in. It looks like they're going to break again in an hour or two. If so, I'll take a few more and decide which I like best then. The pony looks so awesome in the moonlight on my camera screen, but it won't show up that way when I snap the pic.

I've been experimenting with the settings. My neighbors probably think I'm crazy. I've been outside about six times during breaks in the Steelers game. *lol*

ETA: Kar, that is the most awesome shot! My superheroes are in their boxes, packed somewhere. I probably wouldn't have thought of using one of them even if they were available, though.

We got the moon to look bigger by having one person hold the pony up as high as possible and having one person lie on the ground to take the pic. After a thousand tries we finally got it right, thanks to my brother's camera's night settings. I think it came out great; big thanks to my bro!
 
The shots are all really good! Thankfully my new (future) room mate was over this evening and he had no problem helping me with the photo hunt. We were gone for the weekend and as soon as we got here and my computer was booting up he asked what the 'hunt' photo was going to be that we'd have to take.
We stood on the roof deck of my current place for a good half hour waiting for the brief periods while the clouds weren't covering the moon.
 
I has a craptastic time with this one =( but oh well at least I got some thing posted:witch2t:
