Flutter bodied Clover - Finished

Oh wow! I only ever saw art, I had no idea they committed to it and made the fic. Maybe I'll check it out sometime, it's been ages since I wandered into the ol ff.net.

Ha, yes, it's Clover. And that is the same story I got this idea from! :Flutter4: It's still up on fanfic.net, and it's called Through Thick and Thin by ThickerThanLove. I love the idea of flutter pony Clover, so I headcanon both her and her sister to be half-flutter ponies.
I'm not sure that's what a headcanon is supposed to be lol, but I love the idea too! I might go check that story out!

It's a weird and wild fic but I still love it all the same.

I finished painting the pink in her eyes. I'm debating going back over the white areas and making them whiter. I'm pretty bad with small details, though.

Honestly, I don’t have a particular recommendation, I just go with Amazon. I think @Skybreeze may use some.

Thank you!

I'll have to give them a try. Any in particular that you recommend?
I honestly don’t use paint markers. They’re okay for symbols but I find it easier to use detail brushes. I prefer using the fine detail brushes used for game figure or army modling figures but these brushes are not cheap. Typically about $15-40 per brush.
I also use very thinned paint with multiple layers to keep things neat and tidy. It also helps to control how much paint is being applied at any time and to get better fine details. But practice helps a lot too, as with anything you’ll get your own technique that makes sense to you. :rainbowpoop:

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I would like to give paint markers a go, but I'm definitely going to get some smaller paint brushes.
If you’d like a suggestion for pretty good detail brushes that are slightly more affordable, I use these Mod Podge ones and I really like them. Only 7 dollars at Michaels

Thank you! I may pick these up next time I'm at Michael's. I do want to get some smaller brushes too.

I'll probably touch them up a bit more, but, for the most part, her symbols are done.

A head canon is when people make their own theories, or ideas that may or may not fit in well with what actually happened.
I've always taken headcanon as one's own interpretation of a character based solely on what's shown on screen, and any conjecture outside of that is more like fanfic territory rather than heacanon.

I think it's moreso how you choose to see a character or whatnot in spite of true canon rather than because of it. Or a mix of both.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The progress you've made looks great, and it's something to be proud of, but you need to take time to grieve. Sending love your way.
