A friend of mine who knows about my collection recently told me that I could have her sister's old ponies. I told her that if she wanted, I would only take ones I didn't have... she said not to worry because if I don't take them they are being donated to a local charity/thrift shop/op shop. So I told her sure, I'll give them a good home. My G1 collection is just over 200 now, and most of them are from the earlier years so I was thinking I would get mostly duplicates. I wasn't sure however how many ponies she had, and I was trying to not get too excited as I've had friend's say this before but no ponies ever appeared. Anyway, she remembered and here is what I got! :
I was so excited! Out of all of them there was only two duplicates for me. One of which was Pretty Beat, but when I took them home I realised that she is the blue haired version and the one I had was the purple haired one! The other duplicate was Melody, but she was an upgrade! The other exciting thing is that I'm near to finishing the SS set, Truly and Wind Whistler were ones I still needed. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm seeing a lot of factory curl here so I will have to take care when I clean them up. Anyway thanks for looking!!
