Favorite Pony "Gimmick"?

The scented g3s. I had an apple one! She smelled sooooo good <3 we were bath buddies! :ducky:
 
Probably the curls of the Candy Cane ponies.
 
I liked the G1s Sundae's Best ponies that smelled.
The G2's had some with extra magic symbols that when you put cold water on them the symbol appeared. That was very cool.
The only thing I liked about the G3's were the magnets in their hooves. And those went away because of the choking hazard.
I'm not really fascinated by any of the G4 gimmicks yet. I prefer my ponies not to be moveable or require batteries. I also abhor tinsel. But, I will get a crystal empire Fluttershy just because.

Mine is probably the Fashion Style of G4, though i'm not sure if that's considered a gimmick or not. ;p


I do find myself with least favorite gimmicks, though. XD

Edit: Actually, I'm sure I could think of a favorite if I tried, but whatever. IDK. :3

Btw, I've always had an interest in the Dream Beauties, though I've never actually seen one in person.
I'd love to get the chance to see one though, Especially Skysplasher. That is one pretty pony, right there.

Do dragons count? I love the G1 princess dragons!
And the flutter pony's, wingers and Twinkle Eyes.
As a kid, I loved BBE babies Lickety Split, Lofty and Gusty, so I still have a soft spot for BBE's as well and all other G1 baby ponies in general, they're so cute!!
 
Definitely any Gen Sparkle ponies! Closely followed by TAF and TE.
 
Glow and Show!!!! Ponies that literally light up my life hehe!!!
