My sweet husband was at the Restore buying flooring today when he found a cardboard tube with these gigantic stickers inside! Of course for $5 I couldn't leave them, but I have no idea what I'm going to do with them yet. They're wall decals I think. (Starflower for scale). I wonder where they came from.

They look like they'd be appropriate for the birthday room at the indoor bouncy castle place, or the rollerskating rink, or the laser-tag arcade.

It could be possible to find someone to mount them really nicely on board so you could frame them and hang them on a wall instead of mounting them directly there!

Very clean and really rather charming! What a find

my son had so many wall applique stickers that When we moved from our old house it took tons of paint off. So when we moved to our new house I told him that if he wants wall stickers we had to put them on canvas first. He did of course so I bought cheap canvas packs of all sizes in black and white. We applied the stickers on them and arranged them on the walls. It's way better and we can change them as many times as we want. I don't know if they would stick to a painted canvas but you could try that if you want different colors. It makes them seem more arty...

Exactly, @OctoberMoon ! You can mount board onto a wooden stretcher like a canvas with or without an outside frame. And yes, you can take them with you -- and it does elevate them into the realm of art, but they're really wonderful illustrations anyway. So much fun!

Oh weird! I didn’t know they could take the paint off, I had a few pokemon ones up for about a year before I moved and now I put them right back up in my room here. Since I didn’t have them up that long maybe they weren’t as stuck to the paint?

Yeah the ones that pulled the paint were the ones that had been there years. There were some we saved too. He had a lot of them.

Good to know! Maybe once a year I should take them down and put them back up so they don’t damage the paint. At least you were able to keep some

It also depends on the type of paint. If you have a semi-gloss or gloss like in most bathrooms and some kitchens, they would need to be up for a good 5 years. The quality of the paint, too, and just how thick it is. On a new home with a semi gloss they should take quite a while if ever. My old house has a good 10-12 coats of paint in some rooms and it peels much more easily. The new walls that my mom did have just primer and semi gloss. It’s not been a problem for us with 8 years now. (I checked ;) ) My mom like miller no voc super spendy paint, though.

Hmm since we didn’t paint the walls I’m not sure what they used, it’s not very glossy and is slightly textured but things stick to it just fine. But it’s Definitely not a new house :) I guess it’ll be a surprise if they work out lol (and thanks for checking haha)

Nice! They look like the decals put out by FatHead several years ago ;)

This could be it. The size looks correct. Thank you! Still haven't quite decided where I'm going to put them though! Mounting them on something else first does sound like a good idea.
