*EDIT* YAY! I finally got a hold a slammin good camera and got some decent pics of little Lizzy B. I got 3 pages of glam and detail shots for yall to look over. Enjoy!
OH and there is a good Chance she will go up for sale. Im not sure when tho... Time will tell.

I finished this little bit of twisted nobility early December. But my camera was in Hong kong with my boyfriend. AND HE FINALLY COMES HOME ONLY TO LEAVE IT SITTING IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE TAXI HE TOOK HOME. Oh well it wasnt all that good anyway.

But thanks to Bee chan's help I got decent pictures enought to last when till I get GREAT pictures. No offence bee doll. I really apriciate (sp?) your help.

alright so now about my girl...
Obviously shes a halloween custom and obviously shes late. I had finally thought of something to do for halloween... two week AFTER. So what the hey, I guess you could say she MY nightmare before christmas :p
Shes the first of a line of three. Based off the three murderous storied that facinate me the most.
Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Borden and Elizabeth Short. All live figures and a huge yet intrueging coincidence of all having the same name.
adorned with swarofski crystals Shes fully hand sculpted and painted.
I'm hopin I can get good pictures of the details.

Have fun with her, I have to say shes a pride inducer. My little Lizzy B.

heres is a clif notes version of her history:
Elizabeth Bathory is recorded in history to be one of the first to dable in vampirism. She was a Hungarian ( I could be wrong here ) noble woman who was obsessed with keeping her youth and power. In a time when blood, particularly human blood, was such a powerful symbol, it was only natural that she come to the conclusion that bathing in a young and beautiful girls blood would retain her own beatuyand vitality.
She lured innocent country peasants and towns girls to her castle under the guise of employment. She would then pick the most attractive girl and murder her, harvesting her blood for her nightly bubble bath.
Eventually the towns people grew wise and would no longer send her their daughters. Elizabeth now haveing grown an enormous ego, thinking herself untouchable, made the fatal mistake and took the life of a young nodle girl.
Peasants was one thing but the nobility wouldn't stand for their own children being sacrificed. Bathory was promptly arrested, tried and setenced to spend the rest of her life locked away in a small room of her castle..

i can't wait to see the others! i read about bathory and borden on crimelibrary, and remember reading about short in the papers. if the other 2 are as good as this one, you'll have one seriously spooky trio on your hands!
 
That's amazing! I can't wait to see your Elizabeth Short pony. That story facinates me too.
 
Wow, that is absolutely incredible. If you take commissions on those kind of ponies, I'm going to start saving my pennies, she is plain and simple a work of art. Oddly enough I watched a documentary on Elizabeth Bathory last night, lol.
 
Is the Elizabeth Short one going to be cut in half? *morbid cackles*

She breath-taking. I am also a fan of those murder cases, can't wait to see the others!
 
she is totally wonderful! the details are incredible, you have obviously taken a lot of effort with her. i love the pattens on her ruff, the scrumpling of her sleeves and the bracelets... but she is all amazing
 
That's the most detailed custom I've ever seen. I agree- it's a work of art. Oh my, it's so beautiful. I cannot believe that. So good.
 
Holy crap!! Sorry for the vernacular but that is one seriously amazing pony!! I definatly wouldn't want her in my house! She's too real looking and I'm afraid she would come to life and drain my blood!! That creepy looking, but so great at the same time! I love the little drop of blood on her face, that is a great touch. Wow, your customs are few a far between but when they appear that are so breathtaking!!!
 
I've never heard of the story but that is an amazing custom.
 
WOW. I imagine that took...many days to complete! Probably many months. Totally sharp- what a work of art! An interesting story, too.

And what's with all the Elizabeth's, here? Hah!

Love her tail and eyes the most. But her outfit is just lovely. ;)
