Yes, the Z's are intentional
Fooling around with my airbrush, and one thing led to another.
Electric Zhock started out as an experiment in taping off zebra stripes. He started off with a nice glossy black paint. I next cut out his stripes in tape and then applied his top coat of shimmery blue with gradients. I wasn't terribly happy with the appearance of the stripes, so I went back (took forever!!) and traced each stripe with a bold bright blue. His tail is ribbon and modge podge over dolly hair.
Without flash:
On Hold.
Zpectrum (spectrum) is my first attempt at full body rainbow gradients. to tie her colors together, she has hints of purple on her hoof tips and back. She was a ton of fun! I also have a G1 painted in this style that I'm debating what to do with.
Unlike Zhock, her stripes are all hand painted to resemble actual zebra patterning.
On Hold.
Enjoy
