I know a bunch of peeps here have armies of different ponies. I want to see them all... or hear about it!

Currently I don't have any armies that I know of. Maybe if I look hard enough I'll discover I have a secret army in the making...

I really have to get them out of that tub! Their hooves are getting all wrinkled! PLus I made them all bandanas... Hmmm. Time for a new group photo.

Looking forward to seeing others (and what PT discovers... maybe she has a guerilla army--you know, hiding in the trees and jungles and closets LOL!)

The one on the right with the cut forelock is the only pony from my childhood collection that I still have. So SkyRocket is pretty special to me.

*edit* Hey, I found another! :lol: Ok, so I actually have 4 SkyRockets

I have an army of Lockets many of which were 99 cent wins from Ebay - I can't leave one with with no bids lol I have an army of her simply because she's my fav pony :worthy:
This is my army apart from my minitest girl who displays on the TE shelf. I made them all little matching 'Locket' necklaces too :icon_smile_lachuh:

I also collect Posey variants because Locket doesn't have any international variants apart from the German who is identical apart from no pat pend foot stamp. I choose Posey for my variant army because she's another fav and very typical of the early ponies which are some of my favs. Many of her variants are also not too terribly HTF which was another thing I considered,

So far I have:
TOP US & UK with magenta Tulips
MIDDLE Semi deflocked (I have some work left to do on her and repinking as well) No Country, Italian, SS and Spanish
FRONT Mexican with pink hair, Argie CP, Baby Argie and Peru who I have an upgrade of in the post.
I also have MIP Italian Posey hair accessory, MIP Posey ribbon infront there, Posey German puffy sticker and a book with Posey on the front. I really want the Posey piggybank too :p

To finish my army I still need Mexican with purple hair, Peru with curly lilac hair and Italian with no pat Pend foot stamp. I have a custom Blue Italian being made since I know I'll never get her *sigh*

I love the photo from when she got all her CJs out they look like a little army marching :p

At first, Tex was an obsession. I love cactus (cacti?) and cowboy hats! And yellow! I tried to go for the ones that were cheapest (like Josiekats' "no such thing as a bait Bluebelle"... that's me an' Tex) but I think I overspent on a couple of 'em.:oops: Obsessions are cool and kinda scary sometimes LOL. Now I don't feel compelled to purchase or bid on every Tex that comes down the pike, just every one that looks like it will be orphaned (not too many of those). Heee.


Let's add the question, what drew you to the pony that you're creating an army of? DId it happen by accident or did you consciously decide to "go for it"? etc

I seem to have the beginnings of a Ribbon army going as well, huh? ;) That SS Ribbon there was the very first pony in my collection, so Ribbon has a special place in my heart as well.
 
i have my bow ties. i recently just put them on this shelf my sister let me us. i am lucky they all fit.

I don't have an army yet exactly...but I have two Mimics and I used to have 3...and I will probably have 3 again one day. lol
 
WOAH!!!! I love Sundae Best ponies, so this army is like way to amazing!
I also LOVE the baby custom!!!!!!!

How about an Army of Armies?

I've always wanted to take a photo of all my armies together, and I finally decided that my pony shelves needed some dusting...

Here is an army of armies!!!!! Because I have a soft spot for the 6 original babies! Then I needed to display ALL my Megan and Ponywear at the same time! I fell in love with Snow Angels pony wear. Stacktoys are my favorite accessory. I absolutely adore Tidleywinks and ALL the early playset ponies....As you can tell I'm very indecisive!
