G1 Do you collect Pony Wear?

Loose ponywear drives me crazy to be honest. Sometimes people send a few random pieces along with ponies I purchase (which is a very nice gesture - don't get me wrong), but whenever I do get it my thoughts immediatly go: "Oh great, time to get the crowbar out and try to jam it into one of the overflowing bins I have for unwanted accessories".

Yes I could sell it, but time is not a luxury I have much of and any selling is out of the question at the moment.

I also don't want to display it on my ponies because 1. I don't want to hide the ponies beautiful glory under some pieces of fabric :p And 2. My G2 Miss Painter which I got as a child had been left with her red bandana on ever since. Today, well lets just say she doesn't need the bandana cuz her body has been stained red in a nice bandana-shaped pattern >.< So I'm peronaly quite concernd about leaving any wear on ponies for the risk of staining :S


That being said I do collect the wear MOC. That's a whole other story :p I don't have to worry about store it away in overflowing bins since it's attatched to the card. And, as always, I LOVE the artwork on G1 packages and that goes for the MOC Ponywear too. This is the main reason I do collect the wear MOC as I'm not that interested in the wear itself :p

Space is running out to display them though so I've had to pull the breaks on buying any more of it... For now :unsure:

I keep mine in a container labelled "G1 Ponywear". Its under the bed. I don't display it on ponies for the same reason @Desert_Rose has mentioned. I do dress them up for the day on occasion though. Who can resist a baby pony in an elephant suit?
 
Much like clothing on pets, I do not want to dress my ponies. They are so pretty au natural. I did have a tailess puddles I recieved wearing a clown suit. I was not thrilled with how THAT looked. For me, ponywear is unessecary unless the pony came with it originally. Like Satin n' Lace or Tux N' Tails... I guess I'm cool with pony wear as accessories. :)

I love pony wear! I don't have any MOC but I do have a lot of complete sets: I have all of Megan's clothes and lots of the costumes :)
