Different types of Majestys

Ok, so I know that majesty came with a couple of different playsets and such. So, I was wondering if there is a difference between them because I have 2 that look very different.

The differences are that the one on the left has thicker symbols, the typical curved mane hair and the plugs go all the way to the horn. Whereas the other one has straight hair, thin symbols and the pony plugs stop earlier. Their hooves are stamped the same!

what does it say on the bottom of their hooves?

the one with the fuller mane with curl may be the mail order one, and the one with the thinner straight mane may be the one that went with the playset.

Thats exactly what I was thinking... It says "'83 hasbro Pat. Pend" on back left and "Hong Kong" on right back hoof. The same for both.

theone on the right is the playset version(I have her myself), the left one is probably the MO version....

Yeah we used to call her the receding hairline or balding Majesty! LOL! The mailorder one with the nice full mane is the best one to have!

I heard that the receding hairline look is due to the fact that Majesty came with a damsel hat and a crown and Hasbro designed it so the mane wasn't in the way. Is this true?

one of the cutie marks are bigger petaled then the other one's, and one has a white hair line bigger then the others
