I was wondering if there were any major or subtle differences in the two. Is there a difference in consistency, is one less sticky...? Has anyone worked with both, any opinions?

I bought some apoxie sculpt and unless someone can help a girl out...I hate it. It is sticky and can't be molded like sculpty. So who can tell me what I am doing wrong!

Apoxie Sculpt

Apoxie Sculpt gets less sticky if you let it sit for a bit after mixing - I also keep a little bit of water on hand if I don't want to wait until it gets past the sticky stage. :D

clay/sculpt

The Apoxie Clay seems stickier to me and has a different consistancy than the sculpt. When it's cured the Clay weighs a lot lest than the Sculpt. You need to let the Apoxie Sculpt sit for a little bit before trying to sculpt something with it if it's too sticky..it firms up over time.

oh thanks so much for telling me! I will have to try again!

Wow, thanks for the nfo, it helped out quite alot!

Now I was wondering, can Apoxie Sculpt/clay be added to cured Sculpy?

 One more questioned?

When boiling sculpy is it okay to just set it down on the bottom of the pot?

I know it's been said, time and again, how long to you boil sculpy?
