$ Price Check $ Diff between pony eyes and regular eyes spike?

I'm curious as to why there are two spikes, one with pony eyes and one with the little dragon eyes. And a price check on the pony eyed version, please?

The big eyed Spike is the mail order version and much harder to find than regular Spike. I had a terrible time tracking mine down before finally lucking out and getting him from a member here

Cartoon-eyed Spike, aka "pony eyes" Spike, was available as a mail order when MLP the Movie came out. I believe he was on the same mail order form as Hollywood (someone correct me if I'm wrong)? As to his value, I would think somewhere around $15-20 if in good condition, possibly a bit higher or lower depending on condition issues and the market changing.

I have him loose but I don't know exactly what I paid - he was in a larger lot. MIP I paid $28 for, but that was years ago.

Sorry forgot to mention price I bought mine a while back when prices were really high and paid I think $30 for a minty one (I also really wanted him). So the way things are ATM I'd think up to $20 would be about right One thing is he doesn't seem to pop up for sale that often . . . I vaguely remember one going quite high on Ebay going back a bit . . .

I paid about $30 for my Pony Eyed Spike, but that was about 4+ years ago. And right after I won him, many many more showed up on ebay at the same time, different sellers and drove the price down.

I'm not sure of the price now. But safe to say more than $10!

I'd agree with the $20 price for Cartoon Eyed Spike.
