This custom was commissioned by the wonderful and ever so patient, purple_alice. :36546:
She asked me if I could make her a brown and pink unicorn with a dandelion theme and "Dandy Darling" is the result.
I started out with a G3 Rarity airbrushed a deep chocolate brown with Createx airbrush paint. Wildflowers were painted with Iron Oxide Red and then Pink dandelions were layered on top. At first I wasn't sure how the dandelions would turn out but I must admit that I am extremely pleased with the end result.
Once the symbols were done I went back in with my airbrush and gave her pink gradients. She was then sealed with Dullcote before moving onto the eyes which were done in the same Iron Red Oxide and sealed with Triple thick gloss.
For her hair I used several colors of Dollyhair Nylon; Virgin Snow, Kitten, Tea Rose, Old Bubblegum and Pumpkin Spice. I can't stand skimpy hair so I made sure to use plenty of hair in her mane and then used my dremmel to make her tail hole bigger to accommodate a thicker tail.
Anyway, enough reading and onto pictures!
Dandy Darling...
Thanks in advance for looking.
