* Custom Plushie Galaxy * my first Unicorn & TE

I'm so excited to present Galaxy!!! She's one of my fave ponies so I loved doing her as a plushie! :D She was done as a commission for galaxy22586.
I think the jewels worked out great for her eyes! This was the first time I used them. I'm also happy with her horn! What do you think?

I had to dye the darker pink and the orange colors of her hair to get it closer to the real Galaxy. I started with Pinky Pinky and Orange Blossom but dyed them to give them a red tint. I'm really happy with the result. What do you think? I tried to get a good shot for comparison.
 
:shock: wow! She's awesome!! Where'd you find a jewel that big? I don't think I've seen one before. lol
 
Thanks! I got them at Joanns. They came in a pack with a bunch of other colors.

Ah, these plushies are sooo gorgeous. I just love them! Galaxy looks so cute in plush form! The eye looks fantastic!! Congrats on getting the horn looking so good, too. I love it! :D

She is adorable :) Have you used the same fabric on her as the others you have made, it looks different but its probably just me :D

She's AMAZING!!!! Wow, I really really love her... I've never been a huge Galaxy fan but I think I am now. Those jewels really are perfect for her eyes. Amazing work, again. :)

A couple people have mentioned Mimic, I would love to do a Mimic but I don't think I'll ever be able to find the right color fabric :( I might be able to dye it but I totally hate the way fleece gets all matted down after getting wet so I don't really want to.
I'm so excited about the costume!!! The tail!! eeeeeee! Excited! hehehe! I'm working on your plushie, I have the hair, just working on the embroidery.

hehe!!! I'm so happy you love her! :D She came out really cute I think. I have her ready to mail now so she should be there next week some time.

yep! I just have one more to do then I'll start the waiting list :)
I do all my plushies with fleece. There are a couple different types of fleece that I've used. I think so far, the only one that has been different from all the others is Baby Dancing Butterflies. I try to use the same fleece on all of them but I can't always get the color I want so I have to use another kind.

So that should be 3 more to go until its my turn, i think im 3rd on the list hehe :)

I think i'm pretty set on getting a sugarberry :D yey!
