My entry in the 2014 MLP Fair custom contest! She was in the handicrafts division. Luna was only finished at the very last minute (literally in the hotel room the night before!) and I was afraid to enter her in the contest because I didn't know if she'd be good enough.

I was so surprised to win and was shaking so hard I could barely hold on to the medal!

She was 9 months in the making, one of the very first things I ever embroidered on my machine. Photos really don't do her justice, IMHO.

Her pattern's complexity intimidated me so I shelved her for months at a time, and then at the end wound up drafting new patterns for her hair and accessories myself! I made EIGHT shoes before I had the hang of it you guys! EIGHT!!! And like 3 tails!

OMG I am completely speechless. Hasbro need to take a good look at your plush, they are outstanding....
hugs, and thankyou for sharing such incredible work. :D
These are front page for sure :D

Skeen, that's your finest plushie yet! I'm not surprised at all you won. Luna is just gorgeous. You are Queen of Plushies!

I want one! That is beautiful, fabulous work!

Photos really don't do her justice, IMHO.

I will attest to that!! This is an amazing labor of love, and in person she's even more stunning than you can imagine. I think she should go on a traveling tour of all MLP fairs so all can share in the wonder :D

I love your plushie! It's so professionally executed, I'd say it looks like an MLP plush you could find in a store - except you can't, because it's *much* more awesome and detailed. Congrats on your win!

Such beautiful work Skeen, don't doubt yourself for a moment especially for amazing work like this!

Lovely plushie! She really is beautiful I can see why you won first prize!

Amazing! Simply amazing! No words can describe..I love it! Wicked..awww..wow! Lovely and divine!

Wow! Wow! Wow! She is STUNNING! :D
Not that I would doubt your work for a seccond, your plushies are always top form;) I hope when I one day get the chance to try my hand at pony plushies, that I will be even half as good as you:D It has been a dream of mine since I made some bears a couple of years ago for a cause, to make some pony ones for my kids and my best friend's daughter *sigh*
Keep up the good work!

Holy cow how could you not win?! That's gorgeous! I love your color choices waaaay more than Hasbro's version. She is totally first place worthy!

Congrats! She's so great, that just looking at her tells me you've put a lot of work into it! :winkpony:

The win was well-deserved, she looks wonderful! Using mesh-y fabric for her hair really gave her hair a ethereal look.
