Custom G1 Mimic in the making

SHe is looking amazing! I am making one for me and I hope mine looks at least half as good. Great work!

she turned out really nice :) what colors did you use for the hair? maybe the camera isn't picking the colors up right, but the first two stripes look off (not the typical colors one would use for mimic) you nailed the body color spot on, though!!
 
Part camera, part hair color. Mimic is one with "fading pink". I had Jazz use a similar, but not exact pink instead. She looks great!!!!!!! Now I just need to hide her until Charlotte's B-Day...
 
Your are right, I dont have a camera right now, so the lighting was not perfect. I used my phone. :eeek:
The hair is electric bananna, Sugarberry, Envy, and instead of pussycat (because it fades) Dusty Rose.

The hair colors are much more vivid in person.
Think it turned out pretty good hair color wise from what I see in pictures, but we'll see what Rybett thinks when she gets her!
 
aaah... see, that's why I asked :) cameras can be so misleading! nice work :D
 
Well, if what I've read about those colors is true, I'm opening the box while wearing shades. ;) We also may need to talk Baby Mimic at some point.

Jazz, how cool would that be for a 7 yo pony freak's birthday? Mama and baby Mimic!
Now I feel inspired to make a mama/baby set. Hmmm...

hey if you want to take it further you could make a whole mimic army... lol. Teenies, newborns, g2, g3, g4... adult baby...

no maybe that's too much!
 
I totally need to do that . I have some babies I just havent gotten to yet, so that would be fun.
After I finish rehairing some Monster High dolls for someone I'm starting on babies!
 
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! She's here and FANTASTIC!!! I can't wait to see a baby version. Funny thing, I got another McD RD today with the same hair. Thinking punk rock twins! Thanks again for a beautiful pony!!!!!!!!!
 
yeah ! So glad yo like her! Got there fast!

I will try to start on a baby soon, super busy cleaning out the house this week :)
