Just thought I'd post a pic & ask how the body color looks?
I need to do a second coat. It's hard to tell in pictures how light her body is. The camera made it look a shade brighter than it is, but it's a good in between of yellow & green, but I'm thinking a shade or two lighter.

Any comments? Thankx!!!

That's what I figured, but I wanted to double check! I'll be rehairing once I get the hair in, I just got an email today saying it shipped out today, so bummed, I thought it had already shipped!
oh well, I can have the body repaint & cutie mark painted by then.
 
Jazz dear, keep in mind that Charlotte's b-day is July. No need to rush yourself. ;)
 
Oh my!! I have lots of time.

I mixed more color yesterday & came out too bright again. :/
I'll try again today. More white this time :p
 
update on how mimic is turning out :)

hope the color is better & looking good.

Almost done with the reroot, but need to find more time to do it.

Ladies, we are going for regular eyes. I can't match colors to save my life. How would blue look?
 
I would go green, because that's the color of her twinkle eye :) keep it close to the original.
 
I think green will look cool. I could even paint the 3d eye effect of a jewel if you wanted :)

I just opened up 10 slots for any custom for $20 shipped anywhere. Although I've only got 5 more slots open :)
 
Hmm, not sure how to explain it, but I've seen someone else did it before. they painted the eye to look like it was a jewel like the originals, but it was just painted to look like the jewel was in her eye. You know how the jewels are cut with all the little squares .

I can't find anything on it, but I saw it before.
 
Curious, how's she doing? Also bored and don't feel like doing laundery. ;)
 
Lol. I have to paint her eyes & then if you want the hair curled. I will paint her eyes & take pictures.
 
You may be referring to the way I did my StarBlaze Hub Custom's eyes:

I think painted TE's would look great on your Mimic too! I drew the shape with a pencil, then did each facet. Make the center hexagonal, then do a line outward from each point.
