as someone who does not collect MLP, but owns 230 of them, I never see anything on the boards about playsets and accessories. Do you not collect these things. I also have lots of older playsets I would love to part with but I don't know if these are sought after or yard sale giveaways. Whatever year they came out with the hot air balloon I have lots of stuff from that time frame and some sort of roller coaster and a beach thingy with a train track and remote cars and houses and bake shops and the Ferris wheel I have just about 2 of everything because I have twins. What's the best way to part with these. I know some are big so shipping could be a deal breaker. I can't stand to see eBay sellers try to profit on shipping so I never charge more than it costs. Last night I found a book on eBay I wanted. The book was $5 and shipping was $21, when the book would ship for under $4.

I only collect G1, so I can't say for sure but some of the lack of interest could be the shipping. I collect accessories and playsets for the G1 and the shipping for some of the bigger pieces can certainly be a factor. I don't know much about the demand for the G3, G4 items though.

Gosh I have no clue what Gs they are. Most I purchased from a lady whose daughter outgrew them and she indicated they were 5 to 10 years old and I bought them 2 years ago

Can you tell me if I can look for any marks or stamps that might indicate the G or the age.

I know I haven't bought any newer stuff, because the new stuff doesn't light up or play music and that's what the twins love.

Here's some links that might help! Some of the photos on My Little Wiki are still broken so you might need to Google the playsets for more photos but they should help give you an idea at least.

Thank you so much. I recognize most of them just by seeing the names even if the photos didn't open. So I now know I have sets from the first 3 years. I know about wiki but had no idea there was a little wiki or that there was even a directory of all the playsets. That never came up in my google searches. Now if there is a little wiki on my other toy collections I am home free. It is pretty exciting to me to be able to finally identify them. They are older than I thought and in great shape Thank you thank you thank you

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help :) The wiki is a great resource for IDing all kinds of pony stuff but its easy to miss if you're not looking for it. When I first started collecting I mistook it for Wikipedia a few times because all I read was "wiki", haha.

Ghost of the Doll is a great place to ID other toys from the 80s, 90s, and a little bit from the 2000s.

Howdy and welcome to the board!
