I was pony hunting today (and had GREAT success; my credit card is still smoking, lol)

I was wandering in Target, and found several of the Crystal Rainbow Castle on clearance for $14.98!! I can't believe it! Is it that cheap everywhere, or is this unusual??

How did it drop so much, so fast?!?!????

Cool! I'll tell hubby to see if ours dropped it down from $30 the last time I looked.
 
Whoa. At a price like that, I could really go for it. Unfortunately, I don't have the space. Have you noticed the CR bedroom set gone down in price too?
 
Ha Ha We bought mine for AU$65, half its full price here and I thought that was a mega bargain!

Oo! I hope my Targets have some left (last time I checked, they didn't). I *really* need that pink wand that comes with it. I'd pay that much for just the wand!

because it's massive, and a lot of people don't want it since it doesn't come with ponies. XD
 
I think

I think it's a really great design--I would almost consider getting a second one for display purposes at that price--but then again space is at a premium!
 
oooohhh, I would love to get one! I've got an mib one that came with the 3 ponies from walmart. This would be one to open and use for display!

If anywhere still has them, then they're probably that cheap. Target is resetting the toy dept. right now and all the old pony stuff (bedroom sets, castle, sweet steps, styling ponies) is on clearance. If anywhere has any left then they're probably down to 75% off by now. Our xmas stuff is dropping again this weekend (90%) and I think toys are following suit, but there's no pony stuff left. Hasn't been since it hit 50% off.
 
My target always holds out for that last penny!! They have then at 50% off and the red sticker shows for $30. I think I'll try the other target today and see what I can find.
 
Oooh, I hope that one of the Targets in the Seattle/Bellevue area still have some left when we arrive later this month!!

Although I suppose it will be a pain in the @ss trying to get that huge thing back on the plane!! :shock: But for $15.00 bucks, it might very well be worth the trouble!! ;)

The Castle Decor furniture sets are on clearance at Canadian Walmarts in Calgary for only $5.00 bucks right now!
 
Man, that's depressing when I think of what I paid for the one I bought my daughter before Christmas ..... plus shipping :( . I really don't want to think about it. Oh well, I'll have to go cheer myself up buying some of the furniture if our Walmart has it on clearance! That should balance it out right?

Ooh, hmmm... this I'll have to look into : 0-D Heh, I'm strange, because I cactually like that it doesnt come with ponies... I just want playsets for my G1ers, lol X 0-) That price tag was what kept me from doing so, but--$15? that I can handle : 0-D Hurrah!
(And hey, actually, if I do manage to find and buy it nice 'n' cheap, seeing as none of mine have magnets I could probably just toss that wand over Ashlyne's way ; 0-D lol.)

It's based on sales. If the items are selling well, then they won't lower the prices. That's why most of the stuff is taking so long to drop.

If it's something we can't get rid of, we lower the price until it starts selling. Or we just donate it.

I jsut saw it yesterday at Zellers and I almost died
It was $83 :shock:

I'm not pay that price for a playset with out the furniture :p

I just hope i didnt miss out on getting it ingerneral :?
 
Heh, hubby paid $70 for mine with no ponies. I hope the one with ponies shows up here. Then goes on clearance so I can get those ponies!
