I've only got one complete G1 set, which I finished a couple of months ago and only just realised.. LOL! So I was wondering who has a favourite complete set?

here's mine:






The Sparkle (NMO) ponies!

they were aways my faves as a child... now just to get all the babies, I've so far only got Baby North Star!

Beautiful set :) they look softest all together like that! I haven't completed any f1 sets yet, but I've almost finished my BBE collection; just need gusty and tiddlywinks :)
 
I think my favorite completed set is the Sparkle Ponies also! They just look so nice all together.

I just need Star Hopper for the MO set but I haven't really been looking for her. ::Off to ebay::

I've got a completed Tropical set that are just so loverly together. Those sparkles are gorgeous too!

I'm not really planning on completing any sets, usually I just pick my favorite from a particular set and leave it at that. The sole exceptions are the Rainbow Babies and the Rockin' Beats. I'm actually having second thoughts about the latter, but the Rainbow Babies I'm really sure of. I even started making up character traits for them in my head. They're just so cute and colorful, I can't resist! :p
 
They look great!

I occasionally have dreams where I'm in the past and I'm walking into Toys-R-Us to find racks upon racks of Sparkles in their packages up to the ceiling! I guess the sight of them must've really made an impact on me when I was a kid!
 
Congratulations on your sparkle pony completed set. I would like to have a completed so soft pony set but it is very difficult to find one that doesn't have rubs/flocking loss
 
lol!!!!! Funny you guys should mention those sets... the rainbow babies and rainbow curl ponies (they go together in my head), and the tropical ponies and the tropical babies, are my next few most wanted sets after the sparkles. I'd love to get the MO sparkles too... but I've only ever seen one, my besties MO star hopper.

The sparkles seem to have been special to all of us when we were kids! I only really wanted sunspot, as my bestie had her and skyrocket and I only had star hopper! I got two in a lot, then another and another two, and the next thing I know, I had all of them! Yay!!! I'm also on the hunt for the g2 and g3 ones too, but they only ever seem to come up in huge piles with ridiculous amounts of pinkie pie. aargh!
 
I have 13 complete sets. My favorite is the Sweetberry Ponies.
 
My only completed set at the moment is the Rainbow Curl ponies - I just love their hair!!

Next to be completed is my Twinkle Eyes. I just need Quackers, Locket and Tic-Tac-Toe to have them all!! :bliss:
 
The only rainbow curl I need is Streaky. I love Quackers, she's my fave TE... Ihad one, traded her, and then got another... Lucky Ducky - teehee!
 
Heh... Stormness, you and I have a few things in common. I was thinking of Streaky when I said I only picked one from each set... And when my wishlist was a lot larger, Quackers was the only TE from the second set I was interested in. Fun stuff! :p

And yeah, the Rainbow Curls and the Rainbow Babies do go well together, I gotta say. I think in the UK comics the former were the guardians of the latter. Makes sense. :biggrin:
 
Mine are the carousel ponies. They look like a beautiful carousel together!
 
I frustratingly have loads of sets only missing one. My problem is I kind of jump on them as I see them so I'll suddenly realise I've completed a set months later!
Definately got the 1987 and 1988 TAF's, the 1986 MLP's sold just under that heading, all the Big Brothers (bar a couple of bandanas), the merry go round set, the princess brush n grows, normal brush n grows, and the candy canes at least. I love the sparkle ponies though, only got 2 of them so far.
