I was looking through my old tripod hosting account and found 1 page left behind from times long past that still has contents on it. lol I didn't think it had survive! Anyway here's the link:

Applejack and the Evil Wizard

It's from a Dutch comic telling how the TE ponies came to be. Seriously, I refuse to recognise the story as officially valid even though it's from a Hasbro source. I persistently insist that those pretty jewel eyes are a result of magic stardust!

Seriously?? Is that the true origin? What a horrid story! I now must collect every TE to save them! (I previously didn't care too much but for a couple).

Ok it's official. There was some wacky stuff floating around the Hasbro creative office back in the day!

...And who is Question Mark???

I have no idea who Question Mark is. lol In the UK comics and annuals, the writers loved making up loads of weird characters with literal names that describe the very essence of what and who they are, ie Wizard Wantall and Get It goblin. Question Mark was probably one of the one-off or two-off random character churned out to keep the story going.

These are some interesting stories  I've always wondered how the TE's came to be! Although I'd like to think of it as a more magical occurrence.

Oh no!!! Poor twinkle eye ponies!!!! :[ That's just terrible!!

that's amazing, same as how the babys came to dream castle

Eeeeee..... poor ponies....!! I just assumed they were born that way... :(

Ya know, it seems as though the bad guys in the older (80s) stuff were more.... bad. In fact, there were more *of* them. DB always tells me that the G3 cartoons aren't nearly as fun to watch because not a whole lot happens in them with villains to root against and laugh at, like what's their names, the witch with her two silly daughters. I mean, Rainbow BRite had Murky and Lurky, the two villains we most love to laugh at, and She Ra and HeMan had Hordak (snorrrrrrrrrrt) and Skeletor...

Hey that is one explanation. At least the old stories had some bite and action.

I was just thinking.... if Applejack had stayed in that cave for any longer, she might have been a TE pony as well! *brainstorms TE version of a custom AJ*

Okay...strange...

o...kay....well that explains why there are no TE babies at least. still, that was scarey. now everyone'll be afraid to go into caves or the evil wizard with give you TEs XD;

:reaper: Kat :reaper:

D: D: D: D:

Omg that's so horrible yet I laughed so hard. Because they're just like, "Yay we can see! 83" instead of noticing that jewels got slammed into their eyes.

Little blind ponies in a cave doing slave labor. *nightmares of their little eyeless faces*

That is a weird story and some of the story books I have are kind of strange. These comics, are they comic books or just the story books or annuals?

That is a seriously creepy story. Good thing I didn't know it whern I was a child. It would have given me nightmares for sure. It reminds me more of the "Dungeons and Dragons" and "Ghostbusters" cartoons than of MLP.

I remember the story about the TE's from when I was a kid, although I'm not sure where I actually read it from. I think it's a great story :)
