Or rather, a cleaning not-tip:

Don't wash Magic Message ponies in the washing machine. The symbol comes off!

As I found out tonight... but the symbols no longer worked so I'm not too upset!

I've never washed a pony in a washing machine before. I'd be scared about it doing alot more damage than that!

I can't speak for your machine and powders, but I find a quick spin round normal cycle at 50C with washing powder and Oxy really removes smooze and perks up a white pony.

I use a normal spin cycle too.

However lol accidents do happen o_O

Awh, sorry to hear about your pony!
I ruined a magic message with warm water once. :/

Ugh! YEah when I told my keyboarding teacher i collected mlps, she said she gave her granddaughter some vintage ones and washed them by putting them in a pillowcase in the washing machine.
i cringed!

I think that wouldn't be so bad, but you'd probably have to behead them afterward to make sure they'd totally dry.

I prefer to hand scrub mine. It's more satisfying to watch a grimy pony transform in my hands. Thanks for the tip, though, manzanita.

I always wash my ponies by hand. I'm like skig, I like seeing them transform. But now that you mention it, I actually have a baity Truly that I deflocked and I'm trying to get her super white for a custom I'm planning, I think I might give her a go in the washing machine. Thanks for the tip!
