FINALLY!
I have finally finished the custom which was giving me such fits. This is Cinnamon Snow, with her buddy snowman. She is candy-cinnamon scented. Inspiration was a sheet of scratch-and-sniff snowman stickers, which I will be sending along with the pony.

Snowman is sculpy, with a toothpick carrot nose, and twigs for arms. Couldn't find a top hat, so he gets to be a cowboy.

Cinnamon Snow started life as a stained up Sunny Daze. Rehaired with yarn for that fuzzy pony in winter look. Markings are Apple Barrel Acrylics, except for feet and flecking (which doesn't snow up well in the pictures, sadly) done with Painter's Touch spray from Rustoleum.

Oh, and the scarf is crocheted from embroidery floss. A right pain that was, I tell ya.

It's a SEEEKRIT!. Okay, not so much. I stuffed her full of Big Red gum chopped into pieces while I had her head off to do the mane. Also, storing her, scarf, and snow man in a plastic canister with a couple open sticks of Big Red.

That's hilarious! Clever too. It's a shame you had such a rough time with her, but I'd say the end result was worth it. She's gorgeous. I love yarn-haired ponies. The whole design is just super cute. Great job luff; she's adorable

Gotta give credit to my boyfriend for the Big Red trick; I knew what I wanted her to smell like, he came up with the way to make it happen.
 
Aw she turned out great! At least you were patient enough to deal with her and not toss her out in the trash.
The whole scented idea is cool. I'm sure you've just started something new that many people will start doing now. I just hope no one makes a doodoo pony
 
She's very pretty and looks very happy with her snowman buddy.

Well, I'm a bit biased, but I think she's pretty durn cool. :)
I tried to make a fluffier boa-type scarf first but the yarn I had was just not working with me. I'm obviously out of practice with the crochet hook.

Hah. Never thought I'd be a trend-starter in customs! I'm too much of a rookie to have aspirations of being a leader.
And may I just say...Eeew. I'll leave the doodoo pony to someone else :p
