:319:As promised, I have cooked up another ATC swap. First, the basic stuff::319:​

What is an ATC Swap?
ATC stands for Artist Trading Card. ATCs are small pieces of original artwork. The idea is to swap cards to show off your art skills and make new friends. The only limitation on ATCs is the size: 2.5x3.5 inches or 64x89mm and generally a flat surface (although you can add beads, fold out panels, or pop up elements for 3D effects.) Since this is a MLP community, the art should also tie into ponies in some fashion.

I've taken pictures of all the cards submitted for swaps I've hosted.

How does the swap work?
~ Post in the thread or PM me if you're interested in joining one or both swap groups. After a quick feedback check, I'll add you to the participant list.
~ Once signups close, I'll send out reminder PMs with my mailing address and any extra info not included in the thread. Feel free to work on your cards before this!
~ Make digital backups of your finished cards before you mail. This is unfortunately necessary as some incoming packages have not made it to me. Knock on wood, everything made it last time, but I don't want to take chances!
~ Once you finish your cards, mail them to me for redistribution. I'll be in touch with anyone whose cards do not arrive by the deadline to utilize those digital backups.
~ All cards that arrive will be redistributed and mailed out to the other participants.
~ The organizer leaves feedback for the participants and makes sure everyone receives their cards.

I'm outside the US/Canada; can I participate?
I personally have no problem mailing overseas, as long as you can get your cards turned in by the deadline.

I sent my cards but they must have gotten lost in the mail. What happens now?
This is where the digital backups come in handy. If you have your backups and can send them to me to print out, you can still participate in the swap. Don't worry, I'll let you know if your cards aren't here at the cutoff point so this won't be a surprise.

How is feedback rated for this swap?
Positive feedback will be left for everyone who completes the swap.
Neutral feedback will be left if you pulled out before the shipping deadlines or if mailing issues prevented your cards from arriving at all. (The latter shouldn't be a problem if you make digital copies. ;) )
Negative feedback is left if your cards don't arrive via snail mail or digital copies, you drop off the face of the earth, stop answering PMs, and turn in zero signs of work.

the Groups!

It's time for a lazy, laid-back, choose your own adventure -- I mean choose your own swap. You have two groups to chose from, or you can join both. Here's how to play:

Choose Your Own Color Swap
- Swap cards are due in my hand on August 23. Feel free to send earlier! I will aim to ship out by August 27.
- You decide how many cards you want to make. I would suggest no more than ten (unless you're BBD -- that girl is on fire!) You will get back at a minimum the same number of cards you send in.
- Pick numbers from 1-100 (lottery-style) that correspond to the number of cards you want to make. Example: If you want to make five cards, you would pick #s 17, 25, 33, 68, and 99.
- Post your choices in the thread. Try not to duplicate numbers from other posters; I'll ask you to pick again if a number was already taken.
- I will then tell you what colors you selected from a secret list (and links to the Wiki article for that color, as some are fairly obscure names).
- Like the Rainbow swap, you will make one MLP-themed card using each of your color choices.

Sweetmouse, that will be fine. I thought I saw some of you guys were taking summer classes. I'm trying to be low-stress this swap. :)

This one should be interesting, I have no idea what to do on vacation in most of these spots. Looks like I will be spending lots of time googling vacations. I have an idea for the Grand Canyon.
 
Yep, the vacation swap requires a little research (it was hard finding 100 top vacation spots, lol). But you can be as silly or as serious as you'd like. I know a lot of you made some awesome postcards last swap using photos as backgrounds and then drawing in the ponies, so that is totally fair game this time, too. :)

Do these have to be original drawings or are we allowed to use Hasbro lineart?
 
Wow, what do you do in Moscow on vacation? I wonder if I can pull off a pony doing the Russin dance with one of those hats on.

So I will try and be helpful and point out to ladyphoenix that the color swap says #25 is still available but BBD already has it claimed ;)
 
Thanks, Ristvak! My fat finger must have hit the 5 instead of a 4. (But there's still lots of time to think before signups close, lots of working time, and you can do just one or two cards... *dangles swap* *g*)
