Does anyone have any of their childhood treasures left? Of course reobtained toys count too.

This is Littlefoot. He is my sole remaining toy and even though he's a bit worn down, he's still in decent condition. Just got rubs on his eyes, a few loose threads and a thinning patch on his throat.

I'm sure he carries lots of good memories of all the adventures we shared. Took him with me lots of places. :)

My wonderful aunty bought him for me for Christmas back when I was a dinosaur nut and even wanted to be a paleontologist.

Come share your treasures with us and even stories if you like.

In my collection the Three Toys that stand out the most are these they are my oldest and dearest toys in the world. I don't know what I would do if I lost any of them really.

This is Tiggy ( not Tigger though that is who he supposed to be lol). He was bought when I was two days old in the hospital gift shop at the hospital where I was born by my Dad. I have taken him everywhere and he has never ever left my site unless I just had to leave him behind. I was laugh at church camp for taking him and blanky and at sleep overs but you know what I did not care. I love my Tiggy to death. His birthday is two days after mine so that makes him my oldest toy. He currently sits above my bed as he is so fragile he rips if loved to hard. You can prob see all the sewing I have had to fix him over the years. I only can sleep with him when I am really upset now. He actually is permitly smooshed to the side like that from me sleeping with him all the time up till he just got too fragile to cuddle with.

This group shows Fuzzy Wuzzy the Pink Bear. My Nanny Gibson (my Mother Mother) gave him to me when I was 3 or 4.
He was named after the poem Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear!
He is a very large bear and is very very worn. I slept with him and Tiggy all the time as a kid.
I still sleep with Fuzzy Wuzzy to this day. My Nanny Gibson passed from cancer in 2008

In the Picture you see a mint green Blanket. That is Blanky he was given to me when I was 3 by my Great Aunt and Uncle who I loved like grandparents. They have passed away so Blanky is even more important to me. I take him ever where I go. I HAVE TO HAVE MY BLANKY. I freak out if I don't have this.
I just have bad anxiety even as a kid and latched on to my Stuff animals and my Blanky.
I used to cry with it wrapped around me while holding Fuzzy Wuzzy and Tiggy and Jenny Duck. When I was bulled at school or was yelled at for some reason ( Asperger explain a lot of my family issues growing up).

This is Jenny Goose she had a book but I have no idea where it went. She was give to me by my Nanny Jack (Dads Mother) when I was 6. I loved my goose so much. My aunt and uncle had a farm and had real geese and I could not have a real one my Nanny got me Jenny Goose. My Nanny Passed From Alzheimer in 2005.

I have that same Littlefoot!!! Mine isn't quite as loved as yours though ;) I'm going to have to post some pics, I saved quite a few toys from my childhood. All my ponies of course!!

We moved so frequently and then after getting kicked out/running away (group effort), I don't have much more than some pictures. I have a crystal ballerina I bought when we stayed at the Disneyland resort when I was... 11? I'll get a picture , but it's not really a toy.

Special Toys should be any object you hold dear and it mean something.
My Blanky does not really fall under the Toy category and no I did not wrap baby dolls in it so yeah. Bring on your ballet dancer I want to see it.

:xmashug:poor thing. I'd love to see it if you don't mind sharing it.

I recently got a new bed frame so I had to rearrange everything. All my stuff wasn't unpacked. I searched it all and here's what I have from before age 17. My pretty ballerina in the middle. On the left a tiny dictionary from my grandma and a "hi" hand from my dad (that's the oldest). I got the tea set for my 12th birthday and I made the two wax horses when I was 10. I'm shocked they have lasted this long. Strange what passes the test of time. I hope you enjoy.
