I think you did a good job on them. I really like the light purplish one. =)
 
OMG those are SO PRETTY! i really like the blue and pink one. where did you get the wings?
 
Thanks for input everyone! I got the wings from Michaels about a year ago. I've done a few other butterfly fairies. You can see them, as well as some of my other customs, in my weblink below. I'm trying to get it updated with new pics now. :wink:

I had a friend who made a lifesize pair of butterfly wings like that for a costume once. Her way of going about it was to stretch pantyhose over some wiring in the shape of butterfly wings, then to paint designs on the hose. It came out looking a lot like those butterfly wings.

Those are absolutely beautiful, you did a great job!

I don't know diet, I only get to Michael's about once a year, unfortunately. :( They came in different colors as well, as you can see in my album. I only have one pair left, but those wings are going towards a custom I will be making for myself! LOL I always tend to sell every single custom I make, so I deserve a pony myself now! :wink:

If I happen to get out there anytime in the near future and they have them, I'll be sure to grab some extras.

How sweet! I love the way you did the line down the legs -- it's such a simple little touch that makes a huge difference in how the pony looks! :)

those wings rock- I had a few I put to use last Spring too- and I didn't even feel bad tearing them off the poor donor butterflies ;)
