I was just thinking how much I miss CJ and all. She must be very busy teaching classes. Happy birthday where ever you may be, CJ!!

Enjoy your birthday! Excellent!

Happy Birthday CJ! :)

Aha! CJ has been here... I see her 'likes'. Let's trace them back, find her and hug her to pieces!

Wow! Talk about being late to the party! And my own party at that...:unsure: Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! It was a good day.

I have to apologize for the very long absence from Pony Land. So much has been going on in my life... I think I mentioned that my almost 15 year old cat had to be put down right after Thanksgiving. I was really depressed and angry about that and the impending loss of my job during the month of December. And since January I have been applying to jobs like crazy.

I am leaving tonight for Seattle so I can fly out tomorrow morning, bright and early, to the middle-of-no-where Michigan for a two-day interview! I will be back on late Thursday. This is also the first week of the Spring Quarter at my current job. So I'll be missing the first three days of all the classes I teach (Gee, I'm awfully sorry lady-who-doesn't-like-me-and-is-the-reason-I-lose-my-job-in-June.... Guess you'll have a heavy work load subbing all those classes while I'm off at another school that's interested in hiring me). I will be back for just long enough to teach my Friday class and then attempt to get everything in order to leave AGAIN the following Monday for Beaumont, TX (@evilbunnyfoofoo you close to there?) for a one-day interview. (Yes, that's right, I'll be missing another three days of my classes the second week of the term, guess you'll have to continue covering for me, won't ya? Are you regretting getting rid of me yet? Sure seems like there are several other schools very interested in having me work for them...)

Please send positive energy/prayers my way! I really don't want the job in Michigan, but they called first and seem very keen on me. I'm awaiting date confirmation for the trip to Texas, will be nervous until I get the plane tickets in my hot little hooves. Both my husband and I are very interested in the job in Texas. We both like the potential of the location and are excited to be so close to our favorite baseball team! (Houston Astros)

So, that's part of the crazy that my life has been lately. I have done 4 phone/skype interviews (two of which landed me these on-site interviews) and I have at least another 9 job applications out that I haven't yet heard anything on. I have no idea what's going to happen with my job situation, but I'm ready for God to show me His plan.

Oh! And the other exciting thing that has happened is that I have lost 20 pounds! So, I feel good about how I look and I'm ready to go show Michigan and Texas why I am awesome and they should job offer me! Love all my pony peeps. I'll be around at least weekly from now on. I swear! :ponylove:

Texas is the one. Lol I am sorry about your cat. And sorry about the job loss. Its hard to go through that. Beaumont is near my neck of the woods too. I will send prayers up. Go Stros!

Hugs and lots of luck from another Texas pony peep XD

Sadly Beaumont is about five hours away, but the spouse sometimes has conference in Houston, so we'd head that way every now and then! I do hope you can find a job where you want to be. Having to settle somewhere you're not keen on is never a happy affair.

I'm sorry to hear Ms Negative Nancy is still being a biscuit. At least you'll be shod of her hateful self, that's one positive thing that will come of this. I do hope things will work out to your advantage and you find a permanent, good paying job here in Texas. I mean, of course you wanna live here. Who doesn't? :D

Sorry to hear about your cat and the job thing :(
But it seems you got the new job searching going on pretty well :) So many interviews! Good luck, I'm cheering for you!
After you leave your current work I suggest to do someting little nasty to that negative person ;) as reminder how wonderful person you really are and she isn't :p

So sorry about your cat. I remember when my cats had to get put down :(. Good luck on your interview! *hugs*
