Wanted to re-introduce myself. I am Amber, mom of 5 kiddos (b28, b22, g20, G17, b16), nurse in West Virginia USA. I spend my time running the kids, which has now slowed down as they are venturing out into the world, dreaming of beach vacation and collecting MLP.
I only collect Just G1 ponies (no flutters, sea ponies, skinny sister things), older playsets and G3 ponies. I only really collect the ponies, i do have a couple friends, fluters, one or two G2 and a handful of G4 ish.... mostly dound the extras thrift stores and I couldnt leave them to be alone, LOL. I do also collect the G1 reproductions. I think they are amazing as I will not be able to afford a MOC pony (or leave it on the card).
I am at the point where many of the ponies I need are on the expensive end, esp G1, maybe i feel that way because I am cheap.
I am trying to find a good way to organize my g3s so I know exactly which ones I have. Working on a good check off list, right now doing it by color.
I also have tried to dabble in restoring, rehairing ponies, I actually really enjoy it but I cannot redo symbols/paint to save my life !!!!
