I feel like basic fun did the white first because it made the most sense to them. Then someone else pointed out the original art (maybe a pony fan?!) and they agreed it should be changed to reflect the original concept art and changed it from there

Finally caved and bought the whole set off Amazon, 3 out of 4 were delivered today and I got the pink swirl variant of Nova!

I definitely agree that they would be perfect with tinsel. What kind of tinsel do people use for pony hair? I don't imagine it would be too hard to pop some in.
 
Congrats Magpeye! I'm still looking for the pink swirl Nova. I bet I will probably end up liking that version more. And I'm usually not a fan of tinsel but I agree that these would look very nice with some!

Can someone please share their unfinished checklist too so I can feel less bad about being so far behind? :unsure:

Don’t worry, I can only tick off UD-AJ and Surprise. And Gusty if I didn’t customise BF her. Then again, I’m not super fussed on collecting the Basic Fun’s. I have used the checklist though to show family on gift ideas for me though last year

I ordered another Nova from Amazon hoping to get the pink version but no luck. Now I have a MIB one, though.

I wonder if they will be coming out with any more new ones for us? Not plush either.
