Band-Aid adhesive residue--it won't come off!

You could try hydrogen peroxide. When you soak ponies in it it doesn't hurt their symbols but sometimes it softens their hair glue. Maybe soak the pony in it?

when we used to yard sale a lot, we would alway's have to take stickers off of thing's there people would use to price their item's, and we always used lighter fluid (don't ask me why, but literally it's the only reason we keep it in the house) And it alway's worked, you can try that if nothing else works. I've used it on my ponies before and it didn't seem to damage anything (but they were all g1s)
