Hello! It seems I didn’t have an account here, which is strange because I DID have an account here many moons ago. I guess there must have been a changeover at some point? Anyhow, I was in the community many years ago. I tend to drift in and out of it as my mental health allows, but I will always collect ponies!

My heart belongs to G1, but if I’m being honest, G3 is the most appealing to me aesthetically. It just lacks the emotional childhood magic that G1 has for me

I draw sometimes, and I’m learning to make plushies. I hope to have some custom pony plushies made with the G3 laying plushie pattern ready for the community soon! Would anyone be interested?

YAY! I'm happy you made it over here! I like the Facebook groups, but they don't have the warm home-y feeling the TP does. I love your persona pony art, and would love to see your plushies! Handmade plushies are so special. What's your favorite pony in your collection?

I checked all the email addresses and looked over the members list, I’m sure my account is just gone. This is a different format of board than I remember, so I’m guessing my account was on an old version of the TP

In fact, I remember even further back to the very beginning of the Trading Post in the 90s when you’d have to submit your message and wait for it to be manually approved and uploaded. It wasn’t a conversation board back then, it was a communal spot where everyone would just post their trade list. You’d scroll down the list of messages and find a pony you wanted, then email the owner to arrange a trade. There were no pictures. The MLPTP has gone through a lot of format changes over the decades!

My favourite pony will always be Applejack because he was my first when I was six. I was going through a lot and Applejack became my treasured security item. He sparked a lifelong obsession that I’ve never given up on, even after family told me I was too old to want ponies for my birthday!
 
Welcome back to the community! When I came back my old account was gone as well and I kinda just gave up on it.
 
Ahhh hello legend! Your artwork was such a huge inspiration for me when I was learning to draw back in the day and I loved visiting your website! It's very exciting to see you again!

Ooh I'm looking forward to seeing your plushie creations! Also if you are ever open to doing art commissions in the future I would be very interested.

I also had the same experience when I returned to the TP. My account from the early 2000's was mysteriously gone.

Anyway, welcome back to the trading post! :)
