this is for my little sister. she doesn't know about it. i am saving it for her birthday in may. all she is knows is that i am working on something for her and i wanted to know her top 3 to 5 favorite colors that go together. the colors she chose are olive green, burnt orange, mustard yellow, cream and brown. interesting colors, but i made do with it.
i made this with a dg fakie. i sculpted the tail with sculpty and layered the feathers on top of each other to create that tail look. i sculpted smaller feather for the top of the tail. i sculpted roses to add to her ear. i decided to make the body in the olive green or as close as i could make with my own blend of paints. her feathers are done in a yellow, brown, cream and orange colors that i matched to what was needed. i gave her some yellow bait hair, i think it might have been from a fakie. i styled her hair in a twisted bun with 2 yellow pins. her eyes i painted a orange brown color. i painted the roses a creamish color with yellow accents. i sealed her tail and eye with matte modge podge. she was really fun to make. turned out pretty cute. i want to make another one.
and here is my wip. its going to be an easter theme pony. she used to be my other one i had made a few years ago, but i wanted to revamp it. the bait was a baby cotton candy. so far i got the body painted and her eye painted. need to figure out what i want to do for a symbol and what color hair to use. she will also have white bunny ears that i made for the old one.
