This custom was commissioned by the lovely PikaCheck. This is the second custom I have done for her and she's always an absolute pleasure to do business with.
PikaCheck - I've read your post over on the Arena and it totally made my day. You are such a sweetie. I'll respond to that thread once the Arena is acting normally again.
Autumn Glow... airbrushed black with metallic red gradients and an over-all dusting of gold. Eyes and symbols are hand painted with Createx and Lumiere metallic acrylics. Her entire body has been sealed with Createx matte finish and her eyes were given 2 coats of Triple Thick Gloss. She also has a few tear-drop jewel accents.
Her wings are made from acrylic and Fantasy film. They are sealed with Gallery Glass and dusted with gold, red and bronze glitter. The wings have been secured in the body with floral wire and are pose-able.
She's been rehaired with Dollhair nylon in a blend of Vampire Kiss and Pomme D'Amour with added streaks of Satsuma, Golden Goddess, Dusty Rose and Sunlight.
This was the last pony I completed for 2011 and is definitely one of my faves.
Thanks for looking.
