At last! My own Pony Room! In progress photo sharing!

We just bought a house with 6 bedrooms, but this one is super pokey and dark, so it's going to have a spare bed in it (blasted guests needing somewhere to sleep) and is going to be, at last, my very own pony room!

It will soon have my biggest resident, my Baby Tiddlywinks illumination pony who need somehow brought round from lurking at my parents house!.

Then it needs a million and one shelves putting up!

Here is after we first coated the ceiling:

Next, after my husband spent forever taping off the crenellations up a ladder for me (I'm less than 2 weeks off my due date for our first baby! So no ladders for me!) and painted pink as high as I could reach.

Looking to other end of the room out into the hall (where a cast iron fire place is lurking waiting to be fitted downstairs).

And finally, the tape and paper all peeled after the finished painting!

It's going to have lots of wall shelves, there won't be space for bookcases, as there is now a bed in there as it also has to serve as a spare bedroom for guests (with thousands of EYES staring at them!!).

Shelves are not going up yet, my Dad is super busy making us an actual working bathroom before the Baby arrives... because, you know, having a bath and hot water is kinda important! So no matter how eager I am for shelves, he is spending his evenings after work sorting all that for us.
