G4 Are these Felt Haired Plushies new?

Just wondering if these are a new type of Plush?
Apologies for the poor image quality.
These will be for sale in Australia in certain stores in September. ( this will be a store that has never sold My Little Pony in the past)

Thankyou for that, they are on our order sheets for work as being "new" , so I thought I would ask first, now that they are not, I shall hesitate in ordering them :D
 
They've been around in the States for a year or so. First was the Mane Six, sometime mid 2013. Then December of 2013 they released three Princesses (Celestia, Cadance and Twilight, no Luna meh) then at Easter we got Derpy, Cheerilee, DJ-Pon and Octavia. They have 10" and 5" toys. There's also rainbow maned Mane Six that came out at Easter. Oh and an Applejack with Hat. She's super cute.

They're very soft, have odd, sewn on vinyl eyes and the rag cut manes. No bad for the money ($10/$5 respectively on size).

And that's what I did summer vacation. The end.
 
Hehehe... We are Luna deprived and all the sorrier for it!
 
The Funrise plushies have been out in the US for a while, but they didn't get released in Australia. Dunno about anywhere else.

The mane six come in tiny 5", normal 10" (some of which are exclusive to Wal*Mart I think?), and huge 20". Like others have said, there are also princesses, assorted others in 5" and 10", and a huge Spike.

Where did you find them?

They are due out in September I think it was. ( I will confirm that for sure when I get back to work in the morning) The retail price will be $9.95. They are 5 inch and there are 7 different designs. The brand is "Funrise"

Ah! Thanks. Shame it's only the 5" ones, they're not as nice.
 
They're well-made but the rag hair puts me off. Someone asked me if I could remove the rag hair and put on some fabric shaped like the character's hair but I haven't done it yet. Occasionally the faces are a bit skewed so you have to dig to find one that isn't lumpy or misshapen.

You know what's funny? Mr. Skeen thought the BaB CMC ponies I have are knockoffs, and the actual knockoff CMC ponies I have were the "real" ponies! I agree the BaB's are well-made but their filly pattern could use some updating, lol! XD
 
They're cute but not always the best quality. My Derpy has one leg that's easily an inch shorter than the other three!

I also think their faces kind of look like frogs. :p
 
they've been around for a while, I bought a blue one for an easter basket that had a moon and a wand, they're pretty cute.
 
There's a Spike plushie??? Have not seen this yet. I like these felt haired plushies better than the nylon or whatever it is hair that the Ty plushies have.

What!? I have not seen the Derpy plush. Canada is deficient in good pony merchandise. :confused:

We didn't get any of this lot where I live. I had to go 40 miles over to find them. They'd been out a day and were pretty much gone.
