I live in Georgia an I was wondering some things from you all and Georgia people. Is there going to be a pony fair here in Georgia? Where are the new ponies coming out first at walmart target or toys r us? Which is the best place to get more of a selection and cheaper prices at stores and websites? I know that these gas prices have put a major dent in my pony buying. So if you can help me that would be great Thank you! :)
 
I just check Wal-Marts and Targets. I don't recommend Kohls. >< They're way overpriced.

I haven't heard of any pony fairs or meets. o_O I don't think there are enough collectors around for that.

Hey there, I haven't heard anything about a meet either. Honestly, with my class schedule this term and other lovely family issues, there's no way I'd be able to attend one anytime soon. :)

As for finding ponies, I think it depends on the region. The Walmart here generally is pretty slow, and Kmart is really slow. I've had the best luck driving down to Jacksonville, FL and searching there (that's the closest city to me though). Their Walmarts and Targets seem to get the newest items quickest.

Kohl's is way overpriced, but if you can hit them on a 50% sale, their prices are slightly cheaper. The TRU website seems to have new stuff listed quicker than the stores have it in stock, but again that could be b/c I live in a very rural area.

I try and post my new finds at the pony finders board, there's a link at the top of the current news section on Silverfall's site, www.ponytopia.com Lots of times I've found new stuff listed in my area so I don't have to drive around and search. :)
 
I go to school in Savannah and we tried to get a Tennassee/Florida/Georgia meet or something like that I think but it's too far for me to go when I'm only there for school and have no car :\

I admit I never checked Toys R Us while I was in Savannah but I usually hit up Target and Walmart, Target if I recall correctly being the best over all. That's generally where I go when I'm home too. :3
 
Hi! I'm in Georgia, Dallas to be specific.

Wal-Mart and Target are the best places to find cheaper ponies. Toys R Us isn't bad either.

There is a pony meet in Tennessee later this year and one in Alabama.
