Anyone a fan of both FiM and BTVS?

So, my Target finally restocked trading cards, and I bought 4 packs tonight (listed in my trade thread!).

Well, in my 3rd pack I opened it up and I had Angel (Fluttershy's bunny) and right after I had a card with Rarity and Spike called "My little Spikey Wikey."

I started laughing because it never occurred to me that Twilight Sparkle has a dragon named Spike and Fluttershy has a bunny named Angel, Buffy's two biggest love interests in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Rainbow Dash should have named her turtle Riley.

OMG, that is hilarious. I wonder if the writers are Buffy fans?!? Or maybe just one of them.

Good eye (or memory?) to catch that. Man I need to do a Buffy marathon, it's been so long.

Oh gosh, I love the Buffy comics! I have met Georges Jeanty twice now at cons, and it just makes me appreciate his art even more.

And Cathariel, I LOVE that picture- amazing!!! Spike's expression is so similar to James Marsters.

I just recently got into Buffy (so late to the party I know) so I hadn't thought about that before. But now I can't stop thinking about the similarities!
