Any tips for getting the smell of smoke out of a pony?

I bought a G3 pony off of ebay I was very excited about but my dreams were dashed when it came in the mail and i discovered she smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I tried washing her a few times and let her air out but none of it has helped. Any tips on how to get the smell out without doing anything that would damage her? Thanks!

There are several methods, one is to put her in a sealable container and cover her with baking soda then leave her there for a few weeks, another is to do the same thing with cat litter. I have only tried the baking soda method and that did help quite a bit.

Sealed bag of kitty litter and for a long long time.

Any of the above methods should help. Also try to seal her up with dryer sheets. That always works for me.
