Announcing... The Fair Staff Sale!!

After the success of last year's Fair Staff Sale, this event will be held once again immediately following the Celebration Dinner on Friday Night. The sale will begin at approximately 8pm following the conclusion of the dinner and run for approximately one hour only! Guests will be asked to line up for admittance to the sale located in one of the hotel convention rooms near the dinner space (exact room is TBD).

As the Fair has grown, Summer has invited several additional members to join the Staff this year, so you will have the opportunity to purchase many wonderful items from a small group of long-time collectors. This sale is not to be missed!!

This special event is not being advertised to the general Fair attending public. The sale is open to collectors from the community and will only be advertised on community message boards & private Facebook groups.

Update:
We have worked out some additional details for the Staff Sale.

The sale will take place in the Mahogany Ballroom (the main vendor hall). We will have shoppers enter from the Mahogany Foyer through the doors located nearest the MLP Fair Raffle Item table. Shoppers will line up in the isle bordered by tables 12, 16, 20, 24, 30, 36. The Staff Sale will be located on tables along the wall at the end of the room. Due to the expected volume, we may need to limit the amount of people in the sale area at one time. We ask that you are respectful to other members of the community, and do not cut in line. After making your purchases, you will be asked to exit the sale area near tables 37 & 40. To re-enter the sale area, you will need to return to the line.

- We expect to have Wifi available in the Vendor Room on Friday night.
- There will not be a central check out like last year due to the increased number of Staff members this year. Each Staff member will handle their own sales and may accept various payment methods (cash only, Paypal, credit card reader, ect.).
- Please consider bringing your own shopping bag (such as the tote you will receive at pre-registration) as we will not be able to provide bags or baskets during this sale.

I will be bringing some of my handmade plushies (including SCENTED Sweetberry plushies) and pony bags, along with an assortment of MLP accessories, Nirvanas, and G1, G3, & G4 items.
 
I wish I could go SO BAD! I would love to buy some of the scented plushies, too!

Heck, I would have bought anything at the fair!
 
Is this for anyone going, or do we have to sign up/ be a staff member to attend?

Are badges available for pick up on Friday? I pre-ordered badges, but I also thought the fair was just on the weekend.
 
Pre-registration to pick up badges will start on Friday from 4-6pm. The first official Fair event is the Celebration Dinner, a ticketed event on Friday night. The sale will start after the dinner. Members of the Staff will be selling their personal items during the sale (Fair exclusive merchandise is NOT part of this sale). The sale is open to anyone attending the Fair, but is not a heavily advertised event because we can not handle 1,500 attendees through a small area in a 1 hour timeframe. ;)

Registration will also be open Saturday morning before the Fair opens (vendor registration starts around 7am and non-vendor registration will start later on).
