Presenting Midna, the Twilight Princess:

This is the first time I've sculpted since grade school. Her Fused Shadow is made from a G3 crown, Fimo Soft, craft foam, Model Magic, and a scrapbooking bead. I used my clay tools to score the foam with the etched designs before I painted it. The Model Magic was used only for the snakes, because I couldn't put the craft foam in the oven to cure the Fimo on it. I've been treating it like it's made of eggshells for 2 weeks now, but I think it's actually fairly sturdy. Have to squeeze her head and slide it on though.

She's painted with Craft Smart paints, sealed with matte Mod Podge, and rehaired with dollyhair's polypropelyne hair in Daring. Her hair is tied back with metal beads.

Not too bad for several first attempts, eh?

Wow Skeen, that's amazing. I can't believe it's your first pony sculpting attempt. You captured Midna perfectly! Like, even the pose. Everything just screams Midna! Your painting is just amazing. The hair is perfect too. Just wow. Stunning. I love how she turned out!

I know, right?? I was uploading the pics and I was like, yeah, that HAS to be the title.

Mr. Skeen hadn't seen her finished yet and he came home and did a double take. He was like, "Is that the little imp thing from Zelda? She turned out to be really hot, right? Nice custom."

I think the only thing I'm not happy with is her bangs, but I think I can trim them up some more. I kind of did them without a gameplan. XD

the headdressy-thing sorta freaked me out at first (ok the eye too) but after i shook that off her super amazing awesomeness sunk in and like wow! she is just really gorgeous. and clearly DPP is thrilled with her :lol:;;; so wow. amazing work Skeen dear ^^

Skeen, this is beautiful! I love how you used different materials to make her 'crown'. Unfortunately, I haven't played Twilight Princess yet... And the painting is so smooth. DPP is very lucky to get this girl

How was the polypropylene hair to work with? I do believe this is the first custom I've seen using it, and I'm dying of curiosity.

Well, I'm one of the lucky few who has actually seen this custom in person and she is pretty much the coolest! I think I'll have to start customizing so I can do a swap with Skeen!
